On occassion, we get to restore woodwork that comes from lesser known manufacturers who obviously put their mark on automtotive history.  Not only were these vehicles manufactured in very limited quantities, but many of them excelled in styling and performance.....and often, as a crowning touch, they included woodwork in their interiors !

1933 Singer Nine Saloon
This is a picture of unrestored stock woodwork from a 1933 Singer Nine Saloon.

Above, is a picture of the woodwork from a 1933 Singer Nine Saloon.

You can see that the finish has pretty much disappeared and there is major water damage in the right cubby box area.

Unfortunately we don't have an "After" pictures to show you.

1960-63 Singer Gazelle
This is the woodwork from a Singer Gazelle.  The 1960-63 Singer Gazelle woodwork was tastefully done.

As you can see, the woodwork flowed nicely from the Dash and across each door.

This set has changed in color quite dramatically from the medium brown color that it was when new.

Unfortunately we don't have an "After" pictures to show you.

Here you can see the nice medium brown color that the 1960-63 Singer Gazelle woodwork originally had.
The 1960-63 Singer Gazelle had both front and rear door panels, which made the interior classier looking.
1964 - 67 Singer Gazelle
The 1964-67 Singer Gazelle came with substantially more woodwork than previous models.
Like the earlier Gazelle model, there were door panels on the front and rear doors.
The 1964-67 Singer Gazelle woodwork was the "icing on the cake"  for the interior.

Here you can see that this Singer Gazelle woodwork is in dire need of restoration.  If you look closely, you can see how the Glove Box Door has dramatically changed in color, turning almost yellow - where as the rest of the dash is darker.

Unfortunately we don't have an "After" pictures to show you.

1965 Singer Vogue
Here you can see an unrestored stock dash from a 1965 Singer Vogue.
It is difficult to see, but in this picture and the one above, Singer gave the dash woodwork a beveled face.  And like the other models, Singer included door panels on the Vogue to finish off the rich look of the interior.
Unfortunately we don't have an "After" pictures to show you.
We aplogize for not knowing much about the years and models of  Singer that may have come with woodwork...or what woodwork came in them.  So, if any of you Singer "Experts" can provide us information and quality photos of Singer woodwork, we can add them to this section.
